Monday, June 4 @ 11:30 a.m. is the deadline for submitting enrollment forms for Term 1 and Term 2.

 

Monday, June 4 @ 11:30 a.m. is the deadline for paying tuition in full for both Term 1 and Term 2.

 

 

Students are encouraged to register early and not wait until the June 4 deadline. 

No students will be enrolled in either term of summer school after 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 4

 

Money Order or Cash – No Personal Checks Accepted

 

 

 

Term 1

 

Wednesday, June 6 – Thursday, June 21, 2012 

 

Students who failed the 1st half of a course must attend Term 1 summer school.

 

 

8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

 

Monday – Thursday

 

 

Term 2

 

Monday, June 25 – Thursday, July 12, 2012 

            

Students who failed the 2nd half of a course must report to Term 2 summer school.

 

 

8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

 

 

Monday – Thursday

 

 

 

1.   Each high school will conduct summer school using ACCESS distance learning or A+ software.  

2.    Students must wear uniforms and must attend summer school each day until the semester ends.

3.    Students may make up one full course (1 credit), ½ of a course (½ credit), or two ½ courses in summer school. 

4.    Students who failed ½ of a course during the regular school year will be charged $175.

5.   Students who failed both halves of a course during the regular school year will be charged $350.00.

6.   Students who fail ½ of one course and ½ another course will be charged $350.    

       (Example: ½ English $175. + ½ Math $175 = $350.)   

7.   To pass the class, a student must earn a earn summer school course grade of 60 or higher. 

 

Registration: Students are encouraged to register early and not wait until the June 4 deadline.

 

Payment:  Money Order or Cash - No Personal Checks Accepted

 

Transportation:  There are no buses for summer school.  Students must provide their own transportation. 

 

Attendance:  

ü  Students who miss a full day of summer school will earn a full session absence.

ü  Students checking in after 8:30 a.m. or checking out before 1:30 p.m. will earn a ½ session absence.

ü  Students who miss more than one (1) full session will be withdrawn from summer school and will not be given a refund
